La Playa Hotel (Carmel-by-the-Sea)

I came here with my in-laws for my husband’s big decade birthday, and the vibes are immaculate. Everything from the vintage (but not cheesy) decor, the low-lit cocktail bar (Bud’s), & the delicious (and included) breakfast, all the way to the little things: water pressure in the shower, salty caramels at turndown, and freshly baked chocolate chip cookies every night. Just perfect 👌
