homemade whipped cream

My mom - a sneakily accomplished baker - told me once that homemade whipped cream was the easiest and most delicious part of dessert that takes the most minimal effort. It’s true! She always served some with fresh fruit for dessert in the summer. I always make my own whipped cream these days - perfect for hot chocolate in winter and fresh peaches in summer!

(Admittedly, a kitchen aid mixer is the key to this rec, otherwise it’s actually really hard and you should just get cool whip)

(Also no shade to cool whip - it’s the best)
